The Amilcar Hispano is a pecualiar vehicle because it mixes automotive and aviation. Its creator was Tom Walker in 1930. In a French sport model Amilcar, possibly a C6, the Spanish aviation engine Hispano-Suiza 8 was installed, which began to be manufactured in 1915, and which equipped a large number of allied fighters during de First World War. It was a 12-liter engine, thet delivered a power of 300hp. The 300hp, makes this Amilcar one of the fastest vehicle of its time, with the serious handicap of not having brakes (equipped with drum brakes) capable of stopping the vehicle due to its great speed. The car was equipped with a 2-speed Frazer-Nash gearbox.
